DarsMap respects your privacy. This policy explains what data the app collects and how it is used.

Data We Collect

DarsMap uses your precise location only to show nearby mosques and classes sorted by distance, and to calculate prayer times for your location. No other personal data is collected — the app has no login or user account.

How Location Is Used

• Location data is not linked to your identity.
• Location data is never used for tracking or advertising.
• Location data is never shared with third parties.
• You can disable location permission at any time in your device settings; the app continues to work with reduced functionality (manual search instead of proximity sorting).

Notifications

When you "follow" a class, the app schedules a weekly reminder locally on your device, 15 minutes before the class starts. These reminders are not sent through any external server and require no data sharing with third parties.

Local Storage

Mosques and classes you "favorite" or "follow" are saved locally on your device. Mosque and class listing data (names, schedules, general coordinates) is retrieved from the DarsMap backend to display in the app, and is not linked to any personal identifier of yours.

Children's Privacy

DarsMap does not target children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from this age group.

Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will change whenever a material update is made.
